About The Position

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Afternoon in Oshkosh, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel, and respond to concerns with a customer-first mindset. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to client staff, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles at designated posts, including verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing traffic flow as assigned.
  • Complete required reports and documentation, including patrol observations, incident reports, and shift activity logs, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
