Requirements

Completed High School Diploma or GED
Valid and Current New York State Security Guard License
Minimum one (1) year working in a mental health facility/environment
Extensive computer and basic software knowledge
Previous security experience
Previous customer service experience
CPR Certification
Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).
For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor. If any employment cannot be confirmed, candidates may be required to provide proof of employment (such as a pay stubs or W-2s).

Responsibilities

Security Officers are responsible for maintaining security and safety throughout the organizaion - and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.
A commitment to taking care of fellow officers, our clients, and their property
Adhere to all Company service and operating standards
Immediately respond to emergencies & provide necessary assistance
Follow procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
