As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to requests, document observations, and deliver customer service with clear, professional communication. Requirements
- Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations; verify identification and direct visitors, vendors, and employees as required by site procedures.
- Complete routine reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident reports, and shift handoffs; communicate relevant updates to oncoming officers and/or client representatives.
