About The Position

Loomis is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our SOC. This position will support the SOC by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security-related events that may impact company personnel, assets, operations, and reputation. This role requires a proactive security professional capable of identifying emerging risk, supporting behavioral threat assessments, and collaborating across functions to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex security situations.
  • Experience writing and briefing clear and concise incident reports and analytical summaries.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and operate effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Over three (3) years of experience in security management or an intelligence-related law enforcement or military role.
  • Experience supporting Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM) or Workplace Violence Prevention or Insider Threat Programs.
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Center, intelligence environment, investigative unit, or similar security function.
  • Familiarity with behavioral threat indicators and the multidisciplinary threat assessment process.
  • Experience utilizing Open Source and Social Media intelligence tools.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary security or threat management teams.
  • Relevant professional certifications and memberships (e.g., ASIS - CPP, ATAP - CTM, INSA, intelligence or threat management-related credentials).
  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, or other related field from an accredited university, or equivalent professional work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to enable the efficient functioning of the SOC operations.
  • Support the identification and assessment of behavioral threat indicators, insider risk behaviors, and workplace violence warning signs.
  • Monitor branch operations for security and safety concerns, as well as pre-recorded activity for compliance with key security functions.
  • Monitor route operations for security compliance.
  • Maintain situational awareness of global and domestic threats that may impact company personnel, facilities, or operations.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of SOC procedures, incident response, and security documentation.
  • Demonstrate initiatives in identifying operational gaps and recommending improvements to security processes and procedures.
