As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity while assisting with badge presentation and/or visitor management processes, helping to deter unauthorized entry and protect sensitive areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical situations, and/or workplace disturbances, and coordinate with onsite personnel and public responders as needed.
  • Complete reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift turnover notes, communicating timely information to supervisors and/or client representatives.
