As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a secure environment, while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This armed post requires an active guard card/license and offers the opportunity to be part of a caring, agile, and reliable team that values integrity and innovation.

Requirements

Must possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the commercial real estate location and perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents observed during patrols.
Interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and any security-related observations while on duty.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required for incident response or escalation.
