As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds with a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required. You will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset while working as a team and acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and interior areas using available tools such as visitor logs, access control processes, and camera systems, and document observations per site requirements.
  • Complete routine security-related reports, including shift activity logs, incident documentation, and maintenance or hazard notifications, and communicate updates during shift transitions.
