Security Professional - Gate Attendant
About The Position
As a Security Professional - Gate Attendant in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, greet tenants and visitors, and verify credentials while monitoring activity for security-related concerns. You will complete routine patrols, document observations, and communicate clearly with on-site teams to help resolve issues. Requirements
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a guard card.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and tenants by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
- Control access to the property by verifying credentials, managing visitor and vendor entry, issuing temporary passes, and directing arrivals to the appropriate contact or area.
- Monitor entry points and camera systems when available, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance, coordinating with on-site teams, and completing required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, checking doors, gates, and access-controlled spaces for irregularities.
