Job Description As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed. You will document security-related observations, support tenants and visitors with strong customer service, and communicate clearly with the team. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, medical situations, and property damage.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
Document routine activities, incidents, and noteworthy observations using required reports and/or electronic reporting systems, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Provide assistance with tenant and visitor requests, including directions, escorts when requested, and coordination with building management for after-hours access or deliveries.
Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire services, and/or medical responders when requested by site leadership, and support scene management until relieved.
Perform opening and/or closing checks, including checking doors, gates, and common areas for proper status and reporting issues through established channels.
Follow all Allied Universal policies, post orders, and client instructions, including maintaining a professional presence and appearance while on duty.
