As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors through strong communication, clear incident reporting, and customer service, while living our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and store team members by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floor, back-of-house areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel, requesting medical assistance when needed, and/or coordinating with law enforcement as required.
• Monitor entry and exit points, receiving areas, and high-traffic zones; observe customer and employee activity and document unusual behavior or policy violations.
• Complete detailed reports and shift logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and support loss prevention efforts by following reporting and evidence handling guidelines.
