About The Position

The Security Receptionist will work in a fast-paced environment. Duties include but are not limited to: providing access control, answering phones, ensuring phone calls are properly directed, sending notifications via the client's internal messaging system; greeting guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner. In addition, you will be responsible; receiving mail shipments and assisting with various administrative duties. The successful applicant will have direct day-to-day contact with our clients; therefore, will need outstanding communication skills, a great attitude, and the ability to leave a consistent positive impression with each and every interaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three plus years experience in a business environment, including high volume switchboard
  • Proficient in both PC and iOS systems and related software
  • Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer service
  • Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, visitors, contractors and client employees
  • Enforce badge and building safety policies/manage loaner guest and employee badges
  • Greet workmates, guest, clients, etc. as they enter the lobby
  • Monitor overall activity in the Lobby to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Meet all receptionist duties as assigned; register guests via visitor management system; notify hosts as needed, answer phones, etc.
  • Provide a balanced approach and show of safety presence during all assigned hours
  • With prior coordination, provide event support as needed during after-hours periods
  • Complete daily debrief email to notify client management of any high visibility issues or requests
  • Investigate, report any safety conditions which might endanger workmates, guest, prospects, customers, etc.
  • Assisting client ERTs, first responders or other officials during emergency situations; i.e. maintain scene control, assist ill/injured as need
  • Investigate safety related accidents/incidents, interview witnesses, complaints, and victims; responsible for gathering physical evidence and preserving it for future use; complete report and follow up with management as needed
  • Liaise with the property management and building security to ensure overall safety of our office, workmates, guest, prospects, customers, etc.
  • Issue and activate personnel access badges utilizing client preferred access systems
