About The Position

As a Security Officer - Area Patrol Driver in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will complete routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist tenants and visitors with courteous, clear communication. This is a driving post, supporting patrol coverage across the property while documenting observations and escalating concerns. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security experience.
  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property, including lobbies, garages, stairwells, amenity areas, and perimeter spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns; report observations according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting appropriate responders, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete accurate reports and logs, communicate pertinent information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support a professional, welcoming environment.
