As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people first. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or hazards, taking appropriate action consistent with post orders.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, maintain activity logs, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.
