The Security Specialist supports the company’s aviation security programs and helps ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from agencies such as the TSA, DHS, FAA, and DOD. POSITION SUMMARY The Security Specialist supports daily security operations by assisting with station audits, training documentation, and regulatory compliance efforts. This role works closely with the Manager of Security, and station teams to help ensure employees and vendors understand and follow company security procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in aviation, airport operations, security, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with station security audits to ensure compliance with TSA and company security procedures.
  • Monitor security compliance of employees and vendors at operational locations.
  • Support aircraft security procedures and related documentation.
  • Help maintain security training records and ensure required training is completed.
  • Assist with managing security manuals, forms, and regulatory documentation.
  • Coordinate with stations to address security compliance issues.
  • Support vendor security documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with TSA audits and other regulatory reviews as assigned.
  • Provide support on security projects and initiatives as needed.
