About The Position

Brandermill Woods is a vibrant and welcoming community dedicated to providing exceptional service and care to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team and help maintain a safe and secure environment. The Security Guard plays a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by providing a strong, visible presence throughout the community. This position helps deter unauthorized activity and supports residents and visitors by promoting compliance with safety rules, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Exhibit a strong positive attitude towards customer service with a genuine interest in geriatric care, upholding the philosophy of our community.
Ability to stand and walk short and long distances for extended periods.
Capable of lifting and/or carrying objects exceeding 50 pounds and pushing 200 pounds on a cart with casters.
Must be able to reach above, below, and at shoulder level.

Responsibilities

Patrol Duties: Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas, checking entrances, exits, and for any safety hazards.
Monitor for suspicious activity and ensure all safety systems (e.g., lights) are functioning.
Maintain a visible presence to deter prohibited behavior.
Assist residents and visitors in following community safety rules and procedures.
