Job Description: The Institutional Segment Marketing Associate partners with their respective sales team, internal writers/designers, branding firms, ad agencies, freelance designers/writers and compliance to help develop and implement effective marketing strategy, program management and value-added content which are aligned with the overall Institutional business objectives. He/she will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the institutional client segment, including client dynamics & challenges, the needs from the sales team, as well as a working knowledge of the products and solutions that are a focus within that client segment.
The segment marketing associate will independently lead large-scale marketing initiatives, partnering effectively with product marketing, event program management and shared service teams. These initiatives include online and print advertising, collateral, web, conferences, events, sponsorships, direct marketing, market research, thought leadership, and major sales programs to help build awareness and grow the business to clients and prospects across various segments. The Marketing Manager must be hands-on throughout the planning and execution process and be able to multi-task across several marketing projects.
* Educationâbachelorâs degree or higher, preferably in Marketing
* Experienceâthree to seven years marketing communications experience in financial services or related industry
* Product knowledgeâinvestment product sales process and product knowledge preferred
* Marketing expertiseâability to deliver traditional and digital marketing solutions in collaboration with internal and external partners and resources
* Project managementâexcellent attention to detail, solid organizational skills and the ability to manage project teams to a timeline while accurately managing large volumes of information
