Who we're looking for Toyota's PE UCE Stamping Department seeks a passionate and highly motivated Stamping Seibi Team Member. The main responsibility of this position is to support manufacturing plant model launches by leading and coordinating pre-launch die/tooling activities (including die build confirmation and tryouts) to ensure safe, high-quality, productive parts and a successful handover to the plant. Reporting to the Manager, the person in this role will support the PE UCE Stamping Department's objective to provide new model stamping processes to the manufacturing facilities which meet all targets for Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost. What you’ll be doing Lead die build confirmation activities (T0–T1), including DMR (Die Modification Request) and shipping confirmation. Ensure safety, quality, and productivity confirmation of dies and parts through launch readiness checks. Support manufacturing plant model launches through pre-launch setup, die trials, and tooling handover. Provide die tryout support at NAMC, set countermeasure direction, and drive issue resolution. Document activities, provide handovers to the manufacturing plant, and capture reflections/lessons learned. Support hands on level up of stamping dies within Die Manufacturing and at the NAMC’s. What you bring 2+ years of experience with Tool & Die expertise with strong hands-on small tool skills. Experience supporting model launches through die trials, die line try activities, and tooling handover. Ability to lead T0–T1 activities, including DMR and shipping confirmation. Comfortable working in and supporting toolroom/shop activities and collaborating with pilot/manufacturing teams. Basic computer skills for data entry, viewing/printing (e.g., XVL), and willingness to learn/use QuickBase. Strong written/verbal communication to work with internal/external customers and set countermeasures; willing to travel domestically/internationally. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with Tool & Die expertise with strong hands-on small tool skills.
