About The Position
a temporary, non-tenure track position focused on delivering undergraduate or graduate instruction, developing course materials (syllabi, lectures, exams), holding office hours, and grading. Duties include in-person teaching, curriculum enhancement, and student mentorship. A Master’s or PhD in a relevant field is generally required.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in the subject area; Ph.D. or equivalent experience is often preferred.
- Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level is highly desired.
- Strong communication skills, expertise in the specific subject area, and ability to use learning management systems.
Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging lectures, labs, or seminars in specific subject areas.
- Designing or updating course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
- Conducting office hours, providing mentorship, and addressing student inquiries.
- Grading assignments, projects, and exams, and submitting final grades on time.
- Participating in departmental meetings and coordinating with faculty to ensure course cohesion.
