About The Position

As an Account Associate, you will: Own a portfolio of customers, managing the full renewal cycle from proposal through customer acceptance and execution. Build and deepen long-term, value-based relationships with key stakeholders through regular remote and occasional in‑person meetings. Protect and grow revenue by applying thoughtful pricing and margin strategies, mitigating churn risk, and uncovering opportunities to expand Atlassian’s footprint. Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers understand their broader business challenges and recommending Atlassian solutions that align to their goals. Demonstrate clear value to customers by interpreting product usage and business data, and by gathering feedback from multiple stakeholders. Confidently position Atlassian against competitors by using your understanding of the market, industry trends, and customer personas. Consistently manage to results: prioritize your pipeline, organize your work, and execute with discipline to meet or exceed renewal and retention targets. Communicate clearly and persuasively with a range of audiences, adapting your style and medium, and actively listening to ensure shared understanding. Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and other partners to deliver a seamless, high-quality customer experience. Continuously improve how you work by testing new approaches, embracing change, and sharing best practices that help the broader team scale. Use sound judgment to solve problems quickly, identify root causes, and propose creative, practical solutions for customers and teammates.
