Google Marketing Platform (GMP) is a centralized organization within Large Customer Sales (LCS), under Google's Global Business Organization, supporting Americas. GMP is core to Google strategy, and uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. In this role, you will drive the GMP adoption and long-term impact to clients and Google. You will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, driving excellence in execution in order to prove the value of GMP to the customers. You will also drive the GMP adoption towards impact by connecting business needs with tech solutions. You will act as a partner/consultant to those you are working with and supporting the sales process, with focus on customer business objectives, media impact and evolving digital maturity. Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience navigating customer organizational structures, developing technology programs, defining milestones, success criteria, resource allocation, and on-time delivery.
  • Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with online media buying strategies and advanced technologies, Google Marketing Products (GMP) specifically the broader ad tech ecosystem.
  • Excellent creative problem-solving and investigative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Set and drive goal for a vertical of Google's most strategic customers, executing business strategies to grow GMP business through adoption and usage of the four GMP products (programmatic, measurement, search engine management, and site analytics).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ad tech platform, provide consultative guidance to marketers and their partners on how to effectively leverage the products.
