About The Position

TAKKT America Holding is the U.S. holding company of TAKKT AG, a global B2B leader headquartered in Germany. TAKKT America supports three well-known U.S. brands—Displays2Go, TAKKT Food Service, and National Business Furniture (NBF). This role is an employee of TAKKT America Holding and will be based at the National Business Furniture office (West Allis), working closely with Finance & Accounting colleagues from the US brands and reporting directly to the CFO of TAKKT America Holding. We’re presenting an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant. We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and technically strong accounting professional to play a critical role in regional financial operations. This position supports cross-divisional accounting, treasury, and compliance activities and serves as a key liaison between our North American businesses and our international parent company. This role has an in-office schedule of Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Monday and Friday. What Makes This a Great Opportunity? Requirements

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS
  • Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong system proficiency
  • Experience working with ERP or general ledger systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with high standards for accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certification (or progress toward one)
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or international environment
  • Exposure to treasury or cash management activities
  • A continuous improvement mindset - someone who looks for ways to streamline processes and enhance controls
  • Experience partnering with auditors and external financial stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Own intercompany transactions with North America sister divisions and German parent company
  • Manage banking administration across North America divisions
  • Perform banking and cash reconciliations
  • Own month-end journal entries and reconciliations for the region
  • Support additional month-end activities for select business units
  • Own regional cash forecasting in partnership with the German parent company
  • Support monthly regional business unit close and forecast activities
  • Process income tax payments in select jurisdictions
  • Utilize SAP to communicate monthly results to the German parent company
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for income tax and financial audits
  • Support internal control and compliance initiatives
  • Assist with North America Board of Directors materials
  • Support annual insurance renewal process
  • Participate in annual budgeting activities for regional business units
