About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is working with a large Private Equity backed Manufacturing Company in Little Rock to help them find a Senior Accountant for their organization. This is a critical hire for their organization that will report directly to the Controller and have a lot of growth opportunity internally into a management role. Senior Accountant will lead financial operations across multiple facilities. This individual will oversee accounting and reporting activities and serve as a strategic partner to company leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost accounting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across organizational levels

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or multi-site environment preferred
  • CPA or CPA-eligible status is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and ensure the integrity of the general ledger
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account reviews
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal standards
  • Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to promote operational efficiency
  • Partner with operations and finance leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making
  • Build strong relationships across departments to drive collaboration and information sharing
  • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial reporting and operational performance
  • Communicate financial results, trends, and insights to leadership to guide sound business decisions
  • Supervise, train, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate audits and ensure adherence to all internal, external, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Support cash management processes, including daily reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
  • Participate in inventory audits, physical counts, and related reconciliation activities
  • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as needed
