About The Position

Our client is a high-performance financial technology firm backed by world-class investors, including Paradigm and Dragonfly. The organization is dedicated to transforming the global movement of value by building next-generation stablecoin infrastructure. By combining the discipline of institutional finance with the agility of a crypto-native startup, the firm is creating a programmable and efficient financial fabric for developers, fintechs, and global institutions. The Senior Accounting Manager will serve as a foundational member of the finance team, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. This role is responsible for bridging traditional accounting practices with the evolving digital asset landscape. The successful candidate will own key aspects of financial operations, manage external accounting partnerships, and serve as the primary controller for digital asset accounting. This is a high-impact, hands-on position ideal for a technical expert eager to build scalable systems and internal controls from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Active CPA certification is required.
  • 4+ years of combined experience in public accounting (preferably Big 4) and in-house roles within fintech, crypto, or financial services.
  • Proven ability to manage the month-end close process, complex reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large, complex datasets.
  • Strong organizational skills and an uncompromising attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities independently within a startup environment.

  • Direct experience with blockchain explorers, wallet management tools, or specialized digital asset accounting platforms.
  • Familiarity with financial regulatory reporting frameworks.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth or early-stage startup environment.
  • Demonstrated skill in process design and workflow improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships and deliverables with external accounting partners to ensure an accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting process.
  • Act as the lead controller for digital asset accounting, overseeing blockchain reconciliations, transaction recording, and complex valuation processes.
  • Administer and maintain the third-party digital asset accounting subledger, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration with core financial systems.
  • Manage the monthly stablecoin attestation process, coordinating with auditors to verify reserve balances and publish timely, transparent reports.
  • Lead the creation and submission of regulatory reports in compliance with relevant jurisdictions, including specialized stablecoin reserve disclosures.
  • Establish and maintain accounting policies aligned with US GAAP and specific digital asset accounting guidance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to support new product launches and implement robust internal controls.
  • Support annual audits and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
