Honeywell Aerospace Flight Systems department is looking for an experienced Sr Advanced Project Engineer to manage a program for the next-generation Automatic Flight Controls Systems (AFCS) in its leading-edge avionics suites. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of managing a system development lifecycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life. As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of engineers, ensuring successful project execution and high-quality solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet engineering support requirements. You will report directly to our Senior Engineer Program Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix location on a Hybrid work schedule. Requirements
- Experienced in managing a program for the next-generation Automatic Flight Controls Systems (AFCS)
- Experience with avionics systems
- Experience with Automatic Flight Controls Systems for Business, Regional, and General Aviation platforms, from fixed-wing aircraft, to helicopter, and to future UAM/UAS
- Experience with system development lifecycle
