About The Position

About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst, Compensation to join the Disney Entertainment Television Compensation team. This role will have the opportunity to be part of a team that manages both broad-based and executive compensation for a dynamic business focused on creating compelling, cutting-edge television content. The Senior Analyst provides compensation guidance to assigned internal clients and collaborates with People and Culture partners in the planning, development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that support the company’s business strategy. The role will require strong client management skills and collaboration with multiple HR teams. What You Will Do: Partner with Compensation leadership, People & Culture Business Partners and Talent Connection Partners as the Compensation Partner for assigned client group(s). Prepare compensation reports, presentations, and data visualizations for HR and business leadership. Provide guidance and pay recommendations for employees at all levels on compensation philosophy, programs and processes. Conduct ad hoc compensation analyses and projects. Participate in the implementation and management of Annual Compensation Planning cycle for client groups. Create and maintain job families, grade profiles, salary structures and hiring ranges.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of compensation program practices and trends.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills and experience in supporting the day-to-day compensation needs of a large, varied client group.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations based on compensation principles and philosophy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments and client groups.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a flexible, often ambiguous environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences.
  • Exceptional quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details.
  • Ability to adapt to and integrate emerging technologies/tools.
  • Strong sense of teamwork.
  • 3 or more years progressively responsible experience in Compensation with a large corporate employer or leading consulting firm or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar discipline
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Proven ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HR information systems, such as Workday.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as data visualization and project management tools including Tableau, Cognos, Smartsheet, and/or Airtable.
  • Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
