Senior Analyst, Finance & Portfolio Analytics
About The Position
We're seeking a full-time Senior Analyst, Finance and Portfolio Analytics who will play a key role in supporting the portfolio analytics and valuation function within the finance team. This role will be responsible for reporting past and projecting future performance of our active asset base of over 13,000 leases spanning across 20+ countries. As well as support the operations teams, leveraging financial modeling, valuation expertise, and data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and optimize portfolio performance. This is a hybrid position with one (1) day a week in office and can be based out of our Bala Cynwyd, Philadelphia office OR La Jolla, San Diego office.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Finance or Accounting
- 4-6 years of finance experience
- Proven financial modeling and forecasting experience is required
- Experience with large, complex datasets
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of accounting preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong financial modeling capabilities, particularly in the areas of cash flow forecasting, IRR, and NPV
- Experience with data tools and large-scale data structuring preferred (ex: SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Alteryx)
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think independently
- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret project financial indicators and use them as part of the decision-making process
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and to manage multiple projects
Nice To Haves
- MBA, CFA, or other advanced degree preferred, but not required
- Experience with data tools and large-scale data structuring preferred (ex: SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Alteryx)
Responsibilities
- Analyze historical portfolio performance and develop forward-looking forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Own and manage monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including preparation of executive-level presentation materials and supporting analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast ROI across countries and asset classes.
- Analyze, forecast and report on SG&A burden and the related impact on returns.
- Partner with operations teams to evaluate new opportunities, support negotiations, and assist in portfolio de-risking initiatives.
- Proactively identify, design and implement enhancements to existing processes and systems
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, modeling and special projects
