About The Position
About the Role The Senior Analyst, Beef Sales & Procurement supports the end-to-end management of Walmart’s beef supply chain, working closely with internal and external manufacturing partners to coordinate production, inventory, and supply chain activities. We are looking for someone with curiosity, ambition, strong growth potential who is eager to learn, take on responsibility, and develop within a complex, large-scale sourcing and merchandising environment. The ideal candidate is analytically minded, comfortable working with data, and motivated to grow their skills while gaining hands-on exposure to manufacturing, merchandising, logistics, and cross-functional collaboration. This role offers meaningful responsibility, learning opportunities, and a pathway for professional growth within Walmart. This position is based at Walmart’s new Home Office Campus in Bentonville, Arkansas and will report to the Director of Procurement inside Walmart US’s Fresh Meat and Seafood Merchandising Organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, technology, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in using data to drive decisions
- Ability and willingness to learn complex systems and processes
- Ambition to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility over time
- Clear communicator who can work effectively across teams and with external partners
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Interest in food manufacturing, agriculture, and large-scale supply chain operations
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, Agricultural Business, Technology and ERP Systems, or a related field OR 1+ year of relevant work experience (internships, co-ops, or early career roles preferred but not required)
- Foundational understanding of supply chain concepts such as production planning, inventory management, transportation, and manufacturing operations
- Experience or comfort working with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar)
- Exposure to ERP or planning systems is a plus
- Data modelling, data analytics, and data management
- Experience in procurement, including strategic sourcing processes and reporting.
- Microsoft Office - Excel
Responsibilities
- Support the management of Walmart’s end-to-end beef supply chain by coordinating inventory and transportation flows across multiple manufacturing facilities
- Collaborate with Walmart-owned and operated beef manufacturing facilities as well as external partners, including facilities that serve customers outside of Walmart’s retail network
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners
- Analyze production, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Assist with reporting, performance tracking, and data-driven decision making related to production and supply chain execution
- Help identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, service levels, and overall supply chain performance
