About The Position

Horizon Media is seeking an SEO Senior Analyst to join our growing digital team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about SEO and marketing technology, have a solid understanding of ever-evolving SEO best practices and technical considerations, as well as knowledge of best practices in content creation & optimization. The role will report to the SEO Manager, and will support our expanding team through daily implementation & delivery of SEO strategy to existing and new clients.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of work experience in an SEO-heavy environment and/or specifically with SEO
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of SEO
• In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Microsoft Office Applications
• Familiarity and experience with Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Brightedge, Conductor, and/or other industry tools
• Ability to hit deadlines & provide deliverables across several clients at a time
• A thorough understanding of key search engine ranking factors
• Ability to conduct relevant keyword research and make recommendations
• A thorough understanding of and the ability to conduct on-site optimization
• Proven ability deliver within requirements of strategic SEO campaigns
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients & account teams

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, Javascript, and/or CSS, a huge plus
• Experience with local listings management (LLM) and local SEO, a plus
• Content ideation and content writing ability, a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers & technical team a huge plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day SEO tactical execution across multiple clients
• Work in conjunction with predefined SEO campaign objectives
• Provide regular client reports and client deliverables
• Perform client work outlined in coordination with other media teams
• Technical Consultation/Implementation Support/Client Deliverables: 70%
• Reporting: 15%
• Evangelism/Education: 10%
• Assistance with New Business: 5%
• Train Analysts and Junior Analysts.
