Job Overview The Senior Analyst, Customer Relationship Management ensures measurement and analyses of the impact of email and mobile messaging programs. With a comprehensive command of data-analysis tools and techniques, they design analysis frameworks, monitor engagement and performance, and present actionable recommendations through beautiful data stories. Additionally, the Senior Analyst serves as the subject matter expert in Email and Mobile Messaging measurement. They closely partner with the CRM team to provide tactical insights and recommendations based on historical and current performance of the Email and Mobile Messaging programs for Macy’s.

Requirements

  • Data Analysis: Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough analysis and interpret data effectively.
  • Adobe Analytics Expertise: Strong background in Adobe Analytics, including the ability to build dashboards and enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in SQL and data manipulation, with experience in Tableau or other visualization platforms considered a plus
  • Effective Communication: Ability to effectively communicate technical information and solutions to stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Attention to Detail: Must have the ability to view complex data for extended periods and ensure accuracy in analysis
  • Project Management: Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize objectives, and communicate timelines effectively to team members
  • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in consulting, strategy, or e-commerce / retail analytics. Experience in digital merchandising, retails, product management, or marketing preferred.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision. Must be able to view complex data for extended periods of time.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital merchandising, retails, product management, or marketing preferred.
  • Expertise in SQL and data manipulation, with experience in Tableau or other visualization platforms considered a plus

Responsibilities

  • Foster collaboration and conduct thorough analysis.
  • Lead strategic analytics projects across teams.
  • Define and execute audits of analytics tracking to ensure accurate data collection across systems.
  • Promote best practices and develop training to ensure effective utilization of data and tools by teams.
  • Possess a strong background in Adobe Analytics, capable of building dashboards and enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and enhance existing reporting and analysis processes.
  • Monitor Email list growth, attrition, deliverability, and list hygiene.
  • Monitor overall performance and provide optimization recommendations to the CRM team.
  • Generate and maintain reports covering SMS and Email test results.
  • Provide recommendations for refining targeting segmentation, implementing testing strategies, developing schedules, recommending optimization rules, and auditing current programs.
