About The Position

This role offers the chance to lead application modernization initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced consulting environment. You will work directly with client teams to transform legacy software, build cloud-native applications, and improve overall software delivery quality and speed. The position blends hands-on engineering with mentorship, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring both technical excellence and effective knowledge transfer. You will tackle complex challenges spanning people, process, and technology, while helping clients adopt modern DevOps and full-stack engineering practices. Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada without sponsorship.
  • 6+ years of experience in full-stack development, application modernization, or cloud-native engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming paradigms, including functional and object-oriented programming, and database design.
  • Experience with distributed systems, multi-cloud environments, and end-to-end software delivery practices.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong mentoring, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to coach engineers and influence technical decisions.
  • Adaptable to change, comfortable in dynamic client environments, and able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software design patterns, and modern testing practices.

Responsibilities

  • Modernize legacy applications while building new cloud-native and full-stack solutions for client environments.
  • Deliver end-to-end software solutions, including frontend web applications, backend API services, and distributed systems.
  • Mentor and uplift client and internal engineers through pairing sessions, code reviews, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with account leaders and architects to align on technical strategy, communicate changes, and escalate risks.
  • Apply DevOps practices, platform engineering knowledge, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Implement modern development practices such as Agile, TDD, BDD, and DDD, ensuring quality and maintainability.
  • Serve as a technical resource on programming languages, databases, cloud platforms, and large-scale enterprise systems.
