About The Position

The Senior Architect Business Enginee is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities: Drive requirement gathering discussions with senior business users - Create architectural designs at the implementation level to solve in-house business/technical challenges - Coordinate and guide multiple development teams (on-shore & off-shore) towards the implementation of the proposed solution/design - Hands-on rule writer (creating, testing, implementing and maintaining logical rules) - Hands-on investigation of bugs involving complex architecture to determine root cause and appropriate solution - Develop proof of concept for proposed designs/solutions - Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functionalities - working e2e - Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards - Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint - Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions - Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary - Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: Qualifications: - 10+ years of relevant experience as developer / full stack developer / data engineer - 6-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Extensive experience with SQL/Oracle database - complex query writing - Extensive experience with regulatory reporting - United States (FED/OCC), Brazil (BACEN), India (RBI), UK (Bank of England) or any other country/regulator - Experience in managing and implementing successful projects - Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate - Demonstrated leadership and project management skills - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication - Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly - Methodical, attention to detail - Technical: Java and/or C# and/or Python, SQL/Oracle (mandatory), noSQL (nice to have) - Fluent in English Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience Master’s degree preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience Master’s degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience as developer / full stack developer / data engineer
6-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Extensive experience with SQL/Oracle database - complex query writing
Extensive experience with regulatory reporting - United States (FED/OCC), Brazil (BACEN), India (RBI), UK (Bank of England) or any other country/regulator
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
