Senior Architectural Associate
About The Position
As a Senior Architecture Associate, your job involves both creative and technical tasks. You are key in turning design ideas into actual plans. Your day might start with drafting construction documents and making strip drawings for townhomes and condos. Your work ranges from the start of the design process to the finalization of construction documents. This includes making plan changes and managing deliverables, ensuring all departments work together smoothly. You play a key role in improving plans and ensuring clear communication among our construction, purchasing, sales, and marketing teams. You also help keep the architecture project schedule on track under your manager's guidance. You'll use your architecture expertise to solve problems, maintain department standards, and guide the team through standard procedures, all in an office setting.
Requirements
- A college degree
- Strong experience with residential CAD drafting
- Exceptional Autocad skills, with knowledge of Autocad ACA/REVIT
- Experience with taking design sketches through working drawings
- Excited to collaborate in a team environment
- Exudes active listening, confidence, and respect when communicating with others
