As part of ERM Certification and Verification Services (ERM CVS), you will help provide the assurance that organizations rely on to make credible disclosures and decisions. What Your Impact Is As a Senior Associate within our Corporate Assurance team, you will: Support assurance engagements for multinational clients across a wide range of sectors. Help verify ESG and greenhouse gas (GHG) information that guides corporate sustainability strategies and investor confidence. Contribute to high‑quality assurance delivery that meets international standards and ERM’s rigorous internal quality expectations. Gain hands‑on experience through client interactions, site visits, and real‑world ESG data evaluation. Requirements

  • Degree‑level education in a sustainability, audit, or related field.
  • 0–1 years’ experience and/or understanding of assurance principles, sustainability data, or GHG/ESG subject matter.
  • Strong data and spreadsheet analysis skills (Excel proficiency required).
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to support multiple tasks and deadlines across simultaneous projects.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Interest in sustainability and wider societal challenges (e.g., governance, human rights, supply chain, environment).
  • Willingness to travel for client visits nationally and internationally
  • A valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with sustainability and GHG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, GHG Protocol, ISSB, CDP, DJSI, TCFD, SDGs).
  • Exposure to assurance or audit standards (e.g., ISAE 3000, ISAE 3410, ISO 14064‑3, PCAOB Attestation Standards).
  • Understanding of environmental impacts and emissions, including climate change and GHG.
  • Appreciation for professional relationship‑building and client service.
  • Additional language capabilities are an asset, with Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with day‑to‑day delivery of independent assurance for GHG/ESG disclosures.
  • Conduct assurance procedures under the guidance of senior colleagues, including:
  • Media research
  • Analytical data review
  • Evidence collection
  • Site visits
  • Disclosure reviews
  • Maintain accurate documentation and project files in line with assurance standards and ERM CVS quality requirements.
  • Assist senior team members during client headquarters and operational site visits.
