Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience OR PhD with 0 years relevant experience.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing & executing equipment development documentation, such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and User Requirement Specifications (URS) for new equipment.
  • Experience selecting and collaborating with equipment vendors.
  • Experience in site support or new equipment design/installation for manufacturing.
  • Medical product manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support equipment mechanization and automation from business case to implementation.
  • Lead and support an automation roadmap for value streams.
  • Develop processes to transition from manual to automated.
  • Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and sustaining engineering teams to integrate process changes.
  • Document equipment requirements and review vendor designs.
  • Support the full equipment life cycle, from development to sunsetting.
  • Drive standard work for equipment health assessment.
  • Improve equipment uptime through troubleshooting, design changes, vendor partnerships, and hypercare .
  • Execute automation opportunities from idea to production.
  • Oversee installation and hypercare of electromechanical systems.
