Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience OR PhD with 0 years relevant experience.
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience writing & executing equipment development documentation, such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and User Requirement Specifications (URS) for new equipment.
- Experience selecting and collaborating with equipment vendors.
- Experience in site support or new equipment design/installation for manufacturing.
- Medical product manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Support equipment mechanization and automation from business case to implementation.
- Lead and support an automation roadmap for value streams.
- Develop processes to transition from manual to automated.
- Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and sustaining engineering teams to integrate process changes.
- Document equipment requirements and review vendor designs.
- Support the full equipment life cycle, from development to sunsetting.
- Drive standard work for equipment health assessment.
- Improve equipment uptime through troubleshooting, design changes, vendor partnerships, and hypercare .
- Execute automation opportunities from idea to production.
- Oversee installation and hypercare of electromechanical systems.
