About The Position

Now Hiring – Senior Billing Manager – Springfield, NJ The Senior Billing Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to: Oversees day to day operations within the billing department including third party, facility billing and collections Maintains current knowledge in billing requirements related to facility (Medicare A & Managed Care), commercial third party and Medicare Part D. Contributes to organizational profitability by maximizing efficiencies and pursuing all viable opportunities and operational synergies while, at the same time, improving the level of service for our customers Provide management oversight and direction for central business office handling facility billing and collections for multiple pharmacies. Duties include staff development and accountability, billing quality, customer service (private pay and facility) Maintain, review, and update facility pricing tables based on contracts for all sites Participates in fiscal month end closing process Communicates with Pharmacy Directors/Managers/Supervisors on billing related issues Maintains and distributes all incoming audits/audit results Handles billing implementation for new business Handles customized requests relating to billing from existing customers

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of billing & customer service experience
  • 5 years of supervisory/management experience
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations & billing cycles
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written & Verbal)
