Requirements

• Blockchain Development Experience: • Proficiency in building decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts on blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Solana. • Deep understanding of cryptocurrency protocols, blockchain consensus mechanisms, and token economics.
• Proficiency in Programming Languages: • Expertise in languages commonly used in blockchain development such as Solidity, Rust, JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Go.
• Smart Contract Development: • Extensive experience designing, deploying, and auditing secure and efficient smart contracts. The engineer should be familiar with Solidity for Ethereum or other smart contract languages for different blockchains. • Understanding of smart contract auditing tools to ensure code security (e.g., tools like Mythril, Slither).
• Cryptocurrency Wallet and Payment Integration: • Experience with integrating cryptocurrency wallets (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.) and managing crypto payments securely on a platform. • Familiarity with working on wallet development, multi-sig wallets, and secure transaction management.
• Security and Cryptography: • In-depth knowledge of cryptographic principles (hash functions, public-key cryptography, etc.) to ensure secure transactions. • Familiarity with blockchain security best practices, including protection against attacks (51% attacks, replay attacks, double-spending, etc.).
• Scalability Solutions: • Knowledge of Layer 2 scaling solutions (e.g., Optimistic Rollups, zk-Rollups, sidechains) to ensure the gambling platform can handle a high volume of micro-transactions efficiently.
• Experience with APIs and Backend Integration: • Proficient in integrating third-party blockchain tools or SDKs and off-the-shelf backend solutions. • Experience working with APIs to interact with gambling or financial platforms, and with backend development using frameworks like Django or Express.js.
• 5+ years of experience in blockchain development, ideally with experience in cryptocurrency payment systems or gambling/betting platforms.
• Proven track record of building and deploying large-scale blockchain systems or financial applications.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and integrate blockchain solutions with an existing tech stack.
• Experience in working cross-functionally with product managers, compliance officers, and marketing teams to ensure smooth product launches.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in working with cryptocurrency exchanges or other fintech platforms is a plus.
• Industry certifications in blockchain development (e.g., Certified Blockchain Developer) or participation in blockchain-focused hackathons/projects would be valuable.
• Understanding of football and international sports a huge plus
