Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end execution of BMS product development for an assigned product, from requirements definition through validation and product launch.
  • Serve as the single technical owner responsible for overall BMS delivery, integration, and phase gate readiness.
  • Drive technical execution schedules, identify risks, and resolve cross-functional issues impacting BMS delivery.
  • Coordinate firmware, electrical hardware, systems, test, and manufacturing activities related to the BMS.
  • Lead BMS-level technical reviews, integration reviews, and readiness assessments.
  • Ensure subsystem designs align with overall BMS requirements, interfaces, and performance expectations.
  • Own one or more BMS subsystems or functional areas directly, while overseeing integration of all BMS components.
  • Lead complex firmware, algorithm, and diagnostic implementations within program scope.
  • Ensure design quality, testability, and compliance within the established BMS architecture.
  • Apply BMS architecture, standards, and design patterns defined by Principal engineers.
  • Identify architectural gaps, technical risks, or cross-program conflicts and escalate appropriately.
  • Lead BMS-level DFMEA, FTA, and risk assessments for the program.
  • Ensure verification and validation strategies adequately cover system behavior, safety, and diagnostics.
