About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Designer to join a team focused on creating user-centered experiences for Unsecured Lending Operations. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional user and customer experiences, combining strong front-end design skills with execution-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven UX/UI expertise, a passion for leveraging AI technologies, and an eagerness to deliver leading edge design solutions. In this role, you will: Develop and execute employee and customer experience solutions for online applications Manage the UX and UI design, creation, and production of experience elements from product concept through completion, including product updates and revisions Develop and execute experience solutions by employing a broad array of user centered design tools including: customer experience brief, wireframes or visual mockups, site layouts, site maps, taxonomies navigation schematics, task flows, design briefs, key screens, templates, prototypes Review and analyze high profile or complex projects and may lead projects or teams of user centered design specialists Develop new research and tests theories that lead to alternative, leading edge design solutions Analyze relevant internal and external sites and consult standards and guidelines as well as policies to determine best practices Exercise independent judgment to guide risk deliverables Design, develop, test, and refine prototypes Resolve moderately complex issues Lead team to meet key milestone deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of business, user, and technical requirements Oversee planning and execution of projects, production schedules, and quality assurance Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience designing and executing employee experience solutions for digital platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in UX/UI design principles, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product lifecycle involvement—from concept to completion.
  • Proficient in designing, developing, testing, and refining interactive prototypes.
  • Experience leveraging AI-driven design tools or generative AI for prototyping, personalization, or content optimization.
  • Expertise in user-centered design methodologies, including wireframes, prototypes, site maps, task flows, and visual mockups.
  • Ability to influence and mentor teams of design specialists on high-profile or complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct research and apply innovative design theories to develop cutting-edge experience solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve moderately complex design and experience issues.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and leadership levels.
  • 4+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience
