About The Position

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst serves as a strategic analytics partner to Operations and Finance leadership, delivering high-impact analytical solutions that influence key business decisions. Combining advanced technical proficiency with strong executive communication skills, this role translates complex data insights into actionable recommendations. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst works independently to conduct sophisticated analyses and collaborates with data teams to scale solutions into production-ready systems. Additionally, this position mentors junior analysts, fostering their technical and professional growth.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Demonstrated success mentoring or training junior analysts, improving team performance and technical capabilities.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality analytical solutions in fast-paced, dynamic environments, meeting tight deadlines and business objectives.
• 4 years of progressive experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or analytics roles, delivering measurable business impact.
• 4 years of progressive experience in SQL, including writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, and extracting actionable insights from relational databases.
• Advance in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data modeling to streamline and analyze large datasets.
• Ability to design and build interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI to support decision-making.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Python (e.g., pandas, numpy) for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
• Familiarity with R for statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, or other cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms to integrate and analyze customer data.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary analytics partner for Operations leadership (COO, VPs, Directors) to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Execute complex data analyses, leveraging SQL, Excel, and Power BI to extract insights and create executive-level visualizations and presentations.
• Collaborate with data engineers to transition ad-hoc analyses into scalable dashboards and reports, ensuring seamless implementation.
• Mentor junior analysts, fostering their technical skill development and enhancing their contribution to the analytics team.
