Requirements

  • 8 Years Required Creating dashboards or reports using Tableau / PowerBI or similar tools.
  • 8 Years Required Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) and data management experience using Informatica.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 Years Preferred working with very large scale data sets in Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, , or similar. Snowflake experience strongly preferred.
  • 4 Years Preferred experience with data analysis
  • 2 Years Preferred experience working with Informatica ETL tools strongly preferred.
  • 2 Years Preferred working with Tableau creating dashboards and reports.
  • 2 Years Preferred working with PowerBI creating dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
  • Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports.
  • Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
  • Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
  • Contractor will support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) by creating data pipelines, dashboards and reports using Informatica IICS, Tableau or PowerBI as determined by the business requirements.
  • Contractor will translate business requirements into data pipelines and Tableau/PowerBI reports, and work with the program staff to ensure it meets the needs of the customer.
  • Contractor will participate in testing of pipelines, reports and dashboards to ensure proper function, and work with coworkers to publish and promote the reports as needed.
  • Experience with Informatica ETL tools strongly preferred.
