Information Systems Specialist 8 – Senior Business Systems Analyst Oregon Department of Transportation Support Services – Information Systems Branch Enterprise Application Services Salem/Hybrid The role: We’re looking for a dynamic professional to manage public-facing software solutions for Road Usage Charging, tolling, and Connected Vehicle ecosystems. In this role, you’ll coordinate tolling systems and system interfaces, provide expert consultation to management and stakeholders, and oversee analysis, planning, implementation, and maintenance of critical information systems. A day in the life: Work with software systems for Road Usage Charging, tolling, connected vehicle technologies, and other innovative funding strategies. Document business requirements, create test plans and test cases, and track technical work throughout project phases. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop RFPs for software, hardware, and programming services. Meet with customers and partners to understand, document, and communicate automation needs. Participate in technology planning and ensure business needs are represented and prioritized. Attend business meetings to help set project priorities and assist with cost analysis for budgeting. Serve as a liaison between customers and information systems teams, ensuring critical systems support safety and revenue needs. Diagnose and resolve user and system issues that may affect multiple applications or agencies. Research and recommend new technologies for agency and statewide systems. Work in an office environment with hybrid work options available 80% of the time.
