Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in capability management, business analysis, or product management
  • 2+ years of healthcare industry experience
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements

Responsibilities

  • The capability manager will partner across business stakeholders to identify needs, document detailed requirements in AHA, and prioritize features for hub vendor solutions
  • Manage a portfolio of capabilities from inception through deployment by clearly outlining the scope and boundaries for new capabilities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Develop use cases and business needs for new product features by soliciting and translating feedback from business and clinical stakeholders within multiple business units
  • Translate and communicate business value, objectives, use cases and requirements to technology and all cross-functional partners (Reporting, Clinical and Advocate Operations, Optum, UHC, etc.), ensuring understanding and alignment with business vision
  • Consult with leadership across businesses to review and provide recommendations for future capabilities to deploy
  • Develop and maintain capability and feature roadmaps, aligning vendor solutions with long-term strategic goals
  • Define and document the steps required for successful lives and business readiness and impacts, including key milestones, dependencies, and communication as needed
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication
  • Drive successful change management for features impacting operational and product functions and identify opportunities for process enhancements and support agile, iterative improvements to capability management practices
