About The Position

ACET is seeking a Senior Capture Lead / Executive Capture Advisor to co-lead the company’s Business development efforts including most critical capture efforts and shape ACET’s long-term growth trajectory. This role partners directly with the CEO to lead enterprise-level IDIQ captures, drive capture discipline, and win platform-level contract vehicles, including multi-billion-dollar IDIQs. The role blends executive advisory responsibility with hands-on capture leadership and is designed for a seasoned capture executive with a proven record of winning in highly competitive, price-driven DoD environments. This is a remote position though you must be based in the U.S. and able to travel as needed.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in federal capture, business development, or growth leadership.
  • Demonstrated success winning large-scale DoD service contracts, including IDIQs and task orders.
  • Deep experience in price-driven and highly competitive procurements.
  • Proven ability to lead executive-level capture efforts and influence at the CEO and board level.
  • Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams (BD, pricing, contracts, HR, recruiting, operations).

Responsibilities

  • Co-leads all enterprise IDIQ captures alongside the CEO, serving as the senior capture authority for ACET’s largest and most strategic pursuits.
  • Accountable for platform-level wins, including multi-billion-dollar IDIQs and strategic contract vehicles that define ACET’s growth posture.
  • Advises the CEO and executive leadership team on capture prioritization, investment decisions, and competitive positioning.
  • Owns and enforces enterprise capture discipline, including opportunity qualification, capture planning, gate reviews, and execution rigor.
  • Establishes and maintains capture governance standards to ensure consistency, accountability, and repeatable win performance across ACET.
  • Provides candid, data-driven assessments of capture risk, readiness, and expected return.
  • Owns Price-to-Win (PTW) strategy and Probability of Win (PWIN) assessments for major pursuits.
  • Ensures pricing strategies align with ACET’s lean cost structure, wrap-rate constraints, and execution realities.
  • Partners closely with Finance, Contracts, and Pricing to balance competitiveness, margin, and delivery risk.
  • Leads full-lifecycle capture execution for priority pursuits, from shaping and solution development through proposal submission and post-award transition.
  • Drives development of win themes, discriminators, and value propositions aligned to customer mission needs.
  • Supports and leads proposal reviews, executive reviews, and oral presentations as required.
  • Mentors senior capture managers, raising capture maturity and strengthening leadership depth across the organization.
  • Serves as the standard-bearer for capture excellence, coaching teams on strategy, execution, and decision quality.
  • Advises on prime vs. partner decisions, ensuring teaming arrangements align with ACET’s strategic and financial interests.
  • Evaluates and shapes work-share structures to avoid unnecessary value dilution while supporting win probability.
