About The Position

Ibotta is seeking a Senior Client Partner - Beverage to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As a senior member of the Revenue team, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping strategic partnerships, mentoring peers, and driving high-impact business outcomes. This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States. Candidates living in Atlanta, Austin, Bentonville, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dallas, Houston, Jersey City, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, or St. Louis may be eligible for remote work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a consultative, data-driven sales role, with a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Proven success in selling complex digital, mobile, or media advertising solutions, ideally within verticals such as CPG or Retail.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic account plans and close 6- to 7-figure deals with executive stakeholders.
  • Strong executive communication skills, both written and verbal; experience leading presentations and strategic conversations with C-level clients.
  • Experience with relevant tools and platforms such as G Suite, Looker, Salesforce, and a strong grasp of digital advertising technology.
  • High degree of independence, resourcefulness, and strategic thinking in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Natural collaborator and coach with a desire to lead, influence, and elevate peers across the Revenue team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic revenue growth efforts by identifying client needs, qualifying opportunities, negotiating complex deals, and closing new and expanded business across high-value existing and prospective accounts.
  • Develop and execute long-term, data-driven account strategies, tailored to client objectives and industry trends, with a clear understanding of Ibotta’s evolving capabilities and market positioning.
  • Consistently exceed annual revenue targets through complex solution selling, with an emphasis on multi-product, cross-channel partnerships and expanding executive-level client relationships.
  • Present Ibotta’s value proposition and solutions with executive presence, delivering tailored storytelling and insights that influence decision-making across client stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration on proposal development, strategic planning, and negotiation, ensuring seamless coordination and delivering high-quality, client-centric outcomes.
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders on the client side and within Ibotta (e.g., Product, Analytics, Marketing) to deliver innovative campaigns and unlock long-term growth opportunities.
  • Act as the strategic lead for QBRs and partnership planning, using performance data and market insights to drive executive-level discussions and strategic alignment.
  • Maintain and grow high client retention through proactive thought leadership, consultative selling, and value reinforcement across stakeholders at various levels.
  • Build and maintain deep, influential client relationships through regular executive touchpoints, in-person meetings, and high-impact communications that support partnership expansion.
  • Operate with full autonomy, managing a dynamic pipeline, shaping client strategies, and mobilizing internal resources to maximize business impact.
  • Serve as a mentor and leader across the sales team, sharing best practices, guiding junior team members, and contributing to team development and growth initiatives.
