Temple University Health System in Philadelphia, PA seeks Senior Clinical Application Analyst to develop and compile validation documentation to adhere to regulatory compliance requirements, evidence of all required testing, review and approval from laboratory leadership and departmental medical directors. Provide daily support of issues reported from the Service Now support /ticket system for as assigned. Project management per analyst responsible for assigned tasks. Prepare meeting agenda for respective projects for weekly updates to lab leadership. Verify billing of successful lab testing working with EPIC Rev Cycle team. Facilitate standardization efforts with new builds with lab leadership. Coordinate and schedule Go Live with vendors. Develop testing plans, scripts for new implementations. Complete build checklists and verify all required elements of build completed, obtain secondary analyst and manager final signatures. Remote work allowed up to two (2) days per week. Employee must be located within a normal commuting distance of 1331 W Wyoming Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124. 5% domestic travel to different hospital sites, as needed. Your Tomorrow is Here! Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in clinical or anatomic laboratory information systems environments. Experience must include:
  • 5 years of experience with understanding of laboratory information systems including experience with lab workflows and testing.
  • 5 years of experience with Lab device interface HL7 message interpretations.
  • 5 years of experience identifying all scenarios for testing normal, abnormal, critical value testing.
  • 5 years of experience understanding lab values for patient specimen processing and testing in application and validating per test requirements.
  • In the alternative, employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Nursing, or a closely related clinical field provided the applicant possesses:
  • 3 years of experience in clinical or anatomic laboratory information systems environments. Experience must include:
  • 3 years of experience with understanding of laboratory information systems including experience with lab workflows and testing.
