About The Position

CertaPro Painters is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Professional to help expand our growing commercial division. This is a high-impact role focused on developing relationships, securing new business, and building a substantial book of commercial work across the South Shore and Greater Boston market. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated relationship-driven salesperson with experience in commercial construction, facility services, or building trades. The applicant must have a strong desire to succeed in a competitive environment. CertaPro Painters is the largest painting company in North America, with systemwide sales in excess of $700 million. The South Shore Boston franchise is a local family-owned business, which leads the New England market. Our commercial division is experiencing strong growth, creating opportunity for experienced sales professionals to build long-term client relationships and generate significant income. Requirements

  • 3 - 5+ years of successful B2B or commercial sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Comfortable operating in a performance-driven, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships within the local commercial construction or facilities market strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction, coatings, drywall, flooring, or related trades is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with general contractors, property managers, facility managers, and commercial asset owners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
  • Maintain and grow an existing portfolio of commercial accounts
  • Perform site visits to perform estimates and ensure clear communication of customer needs and expectations.
  • Work with the Production team and Job Site Supervisors to ensure the success of every project
  • Represent the company at industry events, associations, and client meetings
  • Maintain a robust prospecting pipeline and report performance metrics
