About The Position

Our nationally accredited team is currently seeking a Community Outreach Specialist for our Mental Health Facilities in Texas to support engagement efforts and build strong relationships within the healthcare community. This position focuses on connecting with local healthcare organizations, schools, and partners to promote access to behavioral health services and increase visibility of our programs. Your Role: Independently develop and execute community outreach strategies to drive referral partnerships, new client appointments, increase brand visibility, and support organizational growth goals. Independently identify, establish, and cultivate relationships with hospitals, facilities, clinics, medical and mental health providers, schools, non-profits, and other referral sources. Serve as a primary brand ambassador by representing the organization at community events, networking functions, professional presentations, and continuing education events. Conduct regular follow-ups with referral partners to strengthen relationships, re-engage lapsed contact, and maintain top-of-mind awareness. Meet or exceed established organizational KPIs including but not limited to in-person visits, new partner development, contact activity, scheduled appointments, and event attendance. Maintain timely and accurate records of all outreach activities, referral contacts, and partnership status in the CRM system within one business day of each activity. Monitor referral data and market trends to refine outreach strategies and report progress to leadership. Coordinate with internal teams to support the scheduling and intake process for referred clients, ensuring a seamless experience. Distribute and manage marketing materials across partner facilities, community locations, and outreach channels. Gather and relay community and partner feedback to leadership to inform program development and service improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public health, social sciences, business or related field. Equivalent degrees or experience will be considered.
  • 2 years of experience in community outreach, marketing, sales, or referral development in a healthcare services setting.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining referral partnerships with hospitals, facilities, or healthcare providers.
  • Familiarity with regional insurance plans, managed care organizations, and healthcare service terminology including referral and authorization processes.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and LinkedIn.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to outreach events across the region.
  • No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs.
