Requirements

  • You bring a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and five or more years of experience.
  • You have experience working in facilities management or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and relevant tools is required.
  • You demonstrate a track record of working collaboratively and adapting to new challenges.
  • Requires a strong technical knowledge in low and medium voltage electrical distribution systems, grounding systems, transformation of primary and secondary utility supplied voltages, and OSHA/NFPA requirements for electrical system/gear.
  • Technical proficiency in electrical systems and controls
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.

Nice To Haves

  • general knowledge of HVAC, clean room filtration, boilers, water purification, wastewater collection and treatment, central plant utilities exhaust ventilation, air treatment systems, high-purity gas distribution, gas detection, safety alarm systems, electrical distribution, clean room operations and semiconductor equipment install is desired.
  • Ability to plan development expenses over a quarter-to-quarter period and track expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all facility electrical systems.
  • Support the planning and execution of electrical upgrades and projects.
  • Work within and be responsible for the electrical infrastructure of multiple semiconductor environments that include: office areas, technical labs, ISO7 cleanrooms, and manufacturing areas.
  • Strong technical knowledge on facilities low and medium voltage electrical infrastructure including but not limited to electrical distribution, lighting, motors, power panel distribution, MCC’s, VFD’s, emergency power generation and UPS systems.
  • Compliance knowledge of building codes, fire/life safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
  • Identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and increase reliability.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize energy use and sustainability.
  • Conduct inspections and recommend improvements for compliance and safety.
  • Coordinate with external partners to implement best practices.
  • Document processes and provide clear communication about changes and results.
