About The Position

The Office for Prospective Students (OPS) at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a Senior Coordinator, Admissions and Recruitment for Transfer Students. OPS recruits prospective students at the local, national, and international levels and is committed to reflecting the diversity of the State of Nevada. The office balances strategic enrollment growth with academic preparation to expand access and opportunity for Nevada residents, students across the nation, and international populations. Admissions coordinators serve as ambassadors for the University, representing UNR at a wide range of recruitment and outreach events. In this role, coordinators engage prospective students and their families by providing guidance on the admissions process, transfer pathways, and available financial aid opportunities. The Senior Coordinator manages assigned recruitment and admissions programs and is accountable for their overall success. This position serves as a subject matter expert, provides lead direction and mentorship to lower-level staff, and collaborates closely with OPS leadership to support the unit’s core functions and strategic goals. The Senior Coordinator may also supervise other administrative faculty within the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of related work experience OR Master’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience
  • Related Experience: In higher education and/or financial aid or related experience.
