Safety Program Leadership: Lead implementation of site-specific safety programs including Life Saving Rules (LSRs), Work Permit Authorization, and Emergency Preparedness. Compliance & Auditing: Conduct safety audits, walkthroughs, and risk assessments. Ensure alignment with OSHA, EPA, and internal SHE standards. Monitor PPE inventory & coordinate distribution. Incident Management: Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses. Document findings, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Training & Engagement: Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions. Track completion of mandatory corporate trainings and support employee engagement initiatives. Security Oversight: Support coordination with third-party security providers. Manage badge issuance, key control logs, and site access protocols. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain safety records, dashboards, and compliance documentation. Prepare reports for site leadership and audits. Supportive environment where individuals are empowered to progress and contribute to meaningful change. Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
